The SIM-MAX PM3201P portable radioactive aerosol monitor is a lightweight, online, continuous alpha and beta aerosol monitor widely used in various drills and emergency assessments. It aims to provide personnel with information on alpha and beta radioactivity levels in the air at the monitoring site and to provide early warnings. The instrument features environmental gamma compensation and radon and thorium progeny compensation functions.
The monitor consists of a detection component, control module, built-in pump, flow meter, alarm device, and battery.
