The SIM-MAX PING3201 is used to monitor the activity concentration of airborne radioactive materials in ambient air, primarily by real-time monitoring of the radioactivity levels of aerosols, iodine, and inert gases in the target gas. It monitors the activity concentration and cumulative total radioactivity of airborne radioactive materials in a designated area through real-time air sampling.
The monitor consists of a radioactive aerosol sampling and detection unit (including an automatic paper feed device), a radioactive iodine sampling and detection unit, a radioactive inert gas sampling and detection unit, an electronics module, a control module, a local processing and display unit, an electrical unit, a junction box, and peripheral equipment or components.
